Hello my fellow traveler…

Welcome… Settle in… Take a breath, a deep one. Repeat as necessary.

The audio that accompanies this text is really interesting! I hear traffic, I hear clicking and clacking, I hear life going on around me as I was recording. And I will not edit it. Although I am certainly tempted to. Because, of course, I have that draw to make sure everything is perfect, my own standard of perfect… And I’ll have to ponder that later…

I came here today feeling very empty.

And then I found my deeper belief.

You see, I believe that the power to get “filled up” is not in this text or in the recording or in a to-do list. The power is in our own purple chair place; whatever color that may be and wherever that may be.

That place where we can go to when we are empty. Bone dry. I think you know that place… That place of no more energy to give to anyone, even to yourself.

Come. Settle in. Receive the warmth and the comfort and the filling that happens when you bring your earth-suit and your essence together and sit down. Stop the swirling. Take a breath. And another…

Notice the filling. Notice the snow globe settling. Every time it gets shaken again, sit. And I don’t mean a physical sit necessarily. I mean a pause. A noticing. A staying.

A Remembering – that there is a peace that passes all understanding that flows in us.

That Peace? Just needs to be noticed; remembered. And then does the situation change? Or is there that turning in you that allows the filling, that enables you to go back into these situations of life a little warmer, a little lighter, a little more patient, a little more loving, a little more kind, a little more understanding, rather than a lot more judgmental, blaming, shaming, guilt-ing and condemning.

So I encourage you and I, when we notice a discomfort and we’re saying, “I’m empty I have no more.”

We do have more. It just requires noticing… Staying… And then rising in the strength of the peace that we rediscover again, that peace that resides in you and me.

With, much love From This Purple Chair To Yours, I bid you some comfortable, settling times in your very own purple chair today – whatever color it is.

    Thankful for the pause !!!
That is when I breathe and let go…. Then , only then, can I be filled with grace and self love and spread that to others ❣️🙏

I agree Dee – simple “seeds” of pause — grow into such a place of shade through grace and self-love …..

This help me recognize my emptiness and the need for self care. I paused and took care of my needs.
