Hi my fellow traveler!

I’ve added some new folks to this list. So if you’re new to these pauses, I want you to know that I do attach an audio and I don’t edit it. For I feel strongly that life can’t be edited. That we live in the moment by moment. And that is good.

Also, if you’re receiving this for this first time or to remind you, you are not on a big text string. There are over 155 of you now that I get to send this to individually. And if you read it or not is really not my concern or my desire even. That’s up to you. Just know that you’re being thought of. You’re being thought of and pkusrayed for. And whether I’ve just met you or you are an old friend or one of my adult children… I hope just knowing that you are thought of and prayed for is encouraging to you on this journey we call life.

So my thoughts for you today and for me start with a coffee cup I have that says

“Ahhhhh…” on it.

Take a deep breath, my friend, and then when you exhale say ahhhhhhh….

Relax here. This purple chair, this Wednesday pause is our place of peace and respite.

For it is here that we can set aside striving. Tightness. Urgency. Right/wrong binaries. Productivity means worth. Fear of falling behind.

Those words and feelings or thoughts are when our whole system is in contraction… A clenching… Kind of a constant feeling of “brace yourself for what’s next!”

So I contend that this pause time a way to put that “contraction” at ease.

relax. Settle in. Get comfy, cozy and rest and say, “Ahhhh…”

Breathe in Peace

Exhale Ahhhh…

Breathe in spaciousness

Exhale Ahhhh…

Breathe in stillness

Exhale Ahhhh…

Ahhhhh….

A pause from a striving world.

Ponder….

• “Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ.” – Unknown

• “God’s peace is like a river that flows within — sometimes quiet, sometimes strong — but always present.” – Unknown

• “Within you is a sanctuary of peace that no circumstance can shake. It is always waiting for you to return.” – Unknown

• “Do not chase peace. Realize it’s already yours, hidden in the depths of your soul, waiting to be remembered.” – Adapted from Rumi-inspired reflections

• “When you pause and breathe, you rediscover the still place where God’s peace dwells.” – This Purple Chair phrasing

I send this to you,

From This Purple Chair To Yours with much love and peace and Ahhhhh….
Kathy
