Hello fellow travelers!

It is a glorious day. Today is sunny and clear and cool. Yesterday was quite cloudy and rainy and foggy. So many different ways we experience life and it’s joy and it’s sorrows and it’s struggles and it’s ease.

I found this week that I needed to deliberately transfer my burdens and my cares to the One who can carry them. For when I tried to carry them, I got very tired…

Funny thing as I was saying the word, “tired” and thinking the word “cranky” it sounded like my brain wanted to combine those words and it came out “tiranky” ….hmmmmm

I digress a minute here… I hope it made you smile. It sure made me smile; made me love myself a little more perhaps.

You see the heaviness that I was experiencing, became to me a signal that when I don’t know what to do I can cast all my cares deliberately upon the One who hears me. Reminds me, “ I’m here. Kathy.“

“You can’t separate from my deep love for you, Kathy… Jana… Paul… Mark… Courtney… Scott… Kim…Kurt… Stephanie… Etc.. “

Take a deep deep breath and and put your name in there. You belong in there, you are welcome there.

It’s interesting how some much power I give to those burdens.

Ah, take another deep breath, my friend. My fellow traveler. And be encouraged. Be strengthened. And deliberately transfer, cast, your cares moment by moment.

1 Peter 5:7-

Peter is encouraging his fellow elders… I think he knew they would have the tense tendency to carry many burdens.

“Cast all of your anxiety and your cares upon him, because he cares for you.”

I leave you with this:

So in 1 Peter 5:7, the image is:

Take the weight off your shoulders and deliberately place it into God’s hands.

Take a breath, Friend, get a visualization and an image of you deliberately transferring burdens from your shoulders to the place they really belong.

With great love, I send this to you, from my purple chair to yours-

That place of peace, rest, restoration… connection.. and release.

Kathy

P.S. These written words are similar to the audio, but this week a little different. I hope you get a chance also to listen and breathe and be.
