Hello my fellow traveler!

Actually, if you’re reading this, you are my FellowSojourner. For these are pauses that encourage us to take a sojourn.

My Purple Chair Pause definition of a sojourn is:

A sacred pause within the journey of life—a chosen place of resting, noticing, listening and being held before moving forward again. A place of nourishment and fuel for the journey.

So again I say welcome and hello to you, my FellowSojourner!

If you are receiving this text or email you’re not on a long group of emails and texts. Right now as of April 2026 I still send these out to over 170 people individually every week. I love this part of my sojourn where I push send to you. Directly. Individually. Thinking of you, with prayers and a whole lot of love.

So this week, take a breath. Push play. Settle in. Take a breath or two or three. And listen more deeply. More intentionally. Noticing any “static,” and setting that aside.

Enter that place of peace that is available to all of us. For we do have eyes to see and ears to hear. We are capable and able.
