Hello my fellow traveler,
As a point of context, I started recording this
On February 27 and finished the recording this past Monday.

You see I get inspired by you! And then I see little glimmers of insight that I wonder would my fellow traveler be able to settle into these words? Will they be able to take a moment or two or 10 to just be? To just settle what might seem like a shaken snow globe life, and set that down to settle?

The glimmering question that rose up in me was, is there a better way than trying to handle everything?
To handle a lifey life that can often be filled with worry, stress, strife, grief, self-righteousness, anger etc….

I got to pondering a better way. Ponder with me few seconds and take a deep breath with me.

From your purple chair perspective, get cozy, cozy. Settle.

Remind yourself that you come here with tender, loving care, capassion, and curiosity.
(TLC to the 3rd power; very exponentially powerful btw)

A motivating stance, a learning stance, a curiosity, a pondering stance.

If and when you sense messaging of inner condemnation, guilt, shame, blame, judgment; when you feel your body getting tense, just look at them with TLC3.

Notice it, see it, hear it.
And set it beside you.

You see?
When we listen more deeply & see more clearly-
By setting, aside, not putting away or throwing away our feelings, but setting them to the side to look at, to examine, with the stance of contemplation, It’s not a new way.

It’s more of a gentle sway.

You see, right here and now, my fellow traveler, we are accompanied by each other present in the presence of the higher than high God.

So simply sit and breathe.

Is this deeply countercultural; To observe with TLC3 in a world obsessed with fixing, advising, correcting, optimizing, and might I even add this need to be perfect?

Perhaps to simply sit is a radical stance –
I wonder….
And yet, so beneficial. Neurologically, physiologically, mentally, spiritually, overall, great health.
And yet, we forget to sit. We forget that we have a purple chair wherever we are.
And we go back to trying to fix and advise and correct and be perfect.
And yet. (I love those words “and yet”)
We know deep down there’s a better sway.

This stillness sway.

This time.. Is cultivating that better sway.

The sway we know and sense is of the peace that resides within us ever so deeply; the peace that passes all understanding.

So take a few more minutes, my friend, with me.

Let’s breathe in.
“Teach me to sit.”
And then let’s exhale.
“Teach me to stay.”

Repeat as needed, even for a moment or two, my friend, you won’t be disappointed.

It’s simple.

It’s spacious.

And it’s true.

Much love to you,
May you find your better sway today-

From This Purple Chair To Yours-
Kathy
